Top 3 Cleansing Oil to Remove All Traces of Makeup

Hi everybody! The secret to good skin is not just pampering your skin with facials, quality skincare and a healthy diet. It is important to cleanse your skin well from the surface to deep within the pores, this is especially important for people who wear makeup daily. No matter how tired I am at the end of the day, sticking to a 3 step cleansing routine is a must to remove all traces of makeup. In short, clenasing oil is probably a staple.

1st: Remove waterproof eye makeup with a eye & lip makeup remover

2nd: Use a cleansing oil to remove remaining face makeup and any other impurities

3rd: Wash off with cleanser

A cleansing oil pretty much does the job to remove all traces of makeup and some can even skip the 1st step of using the eye & lip makeup remove. I did a little test using my most waterproof eyeliners and a super pigmented lipstick with each of the cleansing oil. You will be happy to know that for these 3 cleansing oil, gentle rubbing will do the work.

Shu Uemura Anti-Oxi+ Cleansing Oil ($55 for 150ml & $125 for 450ml) - Shu Uemura reformulated their anti-oxi cleansing oil with new Green Trio (Papaya extract, moringa extract and green tea extract) targeting micro-pollutants PM2.5 in the air.

This new formula comes with stronger ability to remove impurities and waterproof makeup. I have tried their brightening, pore, premium and ultime8 but I like the anti-oxi one best due to its deep cleansing ability and relaxing blend of lavender-geranium-ginger scent, perfect to wind down and relax while removing makeup after a long day. What's more, this cleansing oil is safe to use on eyelash extensions as its formulated without mineral oil! (finally!! a cleansing oil for eyelash extension lovers) I was elated to hear this because i l.o.v.e using cleansing oil to remove all traces of makeup but had to give it up after each eyelash extension session.

Fancl No Preservatives Mild Cleansing Oil ($30 for 120ml) - Fancl prides itself with having no preservatives in all of their skincare. So why is preservatives bad? This cleansing oil contains super refined Nano-sized cleansing particles that are smaller than makeup particles and pores allowing it to break down makeup easily and rinses off with water. Contains no harmful mineral oil

Labo Labo Super Keana Cleansing Oil ($29.90 for 110ml) - said to contain strong pore refining ingredients that tighten up the pores. There is a nice citrusy orange scent to help relax while cleansing. In addition it cleanse from deep within the pores to promote healthy skin. Labo Labo is actually a subsidiary brand of Dr CiLabo which is famous for their multi purpose collagen gel and i absolutely adore the brand and their products.
